Coverage from the lobby to the far end of the ramp.
Hangars, FBOs, flight schools, and corporate flight departments need Wi-Fi that reaches the aircraft, cameras that cover the ramp and fuel farm, and gate access that keeps the airside secure. We design for large open spaces and long distances.
Wi-Fi 7 networking
Multi-gig, segmented, surveyed before install.
Cameras you own
Local NVR storage, no cloud fees.
Door and gate access
Mobile credentials, intercoms, audit logs.
Cabling to code
Cat6A, fiber, documented.
What goes wrong without the right infrastructure
Hangars are enormous and metal
A 20,000 square foot steel hangar with aircraft inside is one of the hardest Wi-Fi environments there is. Mechanics need connectivity at the aircraft, not just at the desk.
The ramp needs eyes
Fuel farms, aircraft parking, and the airside gate benefit from camera coverage with local storage that the FBO controls, not a cloud service.
Airside access has to be tight
Vehicle and pedestrian gates to the ramp need controlled access with a log. Shared gate codes are a security finding waiting to happen.
Pilots and passengers expect Wi-Fi
Crew lounges, passenger areas, and aircraft at the ramp all expect fast, reliable connectivity. It is part of the FBO experience.
How each service applies to aviation
Wi-Fi 7 inside the hangar and out on the ramp.
High-gain and outdoor Wi-Fi 7 access points cover the hangar floor, the ramp, and the fuel farm. Separate networks keep operations, crew, and passengers apart.
- Wi-Fi 7 APs mounted for hangar coverage at aircraft level
- Long-range outdoor APs for ramp, tie-downs, and fuel farm
- Operations VLAN separate from crew, passenger, and guest
- Point-to-point wireless links to remote buildings
- Multi-gig backhaul to support cameras and operations
- RF survey with aircraft in the hangar
Ramp, fuel farm, and gates on one system.
Cameras with license plate recognition at the airside gate, coverage of the fuel farm and aircraft parking, and access control on hangar doors and gates, all recording to your own NVR.
- Cameras on ramp, fuel farm, aircraft parking, and hangar interior
- License plate recognition at vehicle gates
- UniFi Access on pedestrian gates, hangar doors, and offices
- Video intercom at the airside gate
- Local NVR with retention sized for your policy
Fiber across the ramp, copper in the hangar.
Distances at an airport exceed what copper can carry. We run fiber to remote hangars and gates, Cat6A inside, and outdoor-rated cable wherever it is exposed.
- Fiber to remote hangars, gates, and the fuel farm
- Cat6A to offices, crew areas, and hangar APs
- Outdoor-rated and direct-burial cable on the ramp
- Weatherproof enclosures at gate and camera locations
- As-built drawings that match the airport site plan
IT for the FBO and flight department.
Front desk PCs, dispatch and scheduling systems, and crew devices all need to be patched, protected, and supported. We manage those endpoints and accounts, run CrowdStrike on the operations machines, and keep staff logins and MFA in order, so the people running the ramp are not also running IT.
Learn more about managed IT →Every gate event tied to a plate and a camera.
License plate recognition at the vehicle gate, mobile credentials at the pedestrian gate, and cameras on the ramp all record to one system. When the airport authority asks who was airside at 2 a.m., you can show them.
What a typical aviation deployment looks like
