Learning should not stop because the Wi-Fi did.

K-12 districts, private academies, and after-school programs run on connectivity now. We design campus networks for one-to-one device programs, online testing, and classroom AV, with content filtering and data segmentation built in from the start.

Wi-Fi 7 networking

Multi-gig, segmented, surveyed before install.

Cameras you own

Local NVR storage, no cloud fees.

Door and gate access

Mobile credentials, intercoms, audit logs.

Cabling to code

Cat6A, fiber, documented.

Why it matters

What goes wrong without the right infrastructure

One-to-one programs need real density

Thirty Chromebooks in one room is a small office. Multiply by every classroom, every period. We size Wi-Fi 7 access points for the device counts you actually have.

CIPA filtering is tied to funding

E-Rate requires Children's Internet Protection Act compliance. Filtering, monitoring, and policy enforcement are designed into the network, not added on afterward.

FERPA means separation

Student records and administrative systems must stay off the same network as guests and student devices. That is a VLAN design decision, and it has to be made deliberately.

Parents ask about the doors first

Front-door control, visitor sign-in, hallway cameras, and a lockdown that works from any approved device are now standard expectations on the campus tour.

How we help

How each service applies to education

Networking

Campus Wi-Fi designed for how schools are built.

Brick walls, long hallways, metal gymnasiums, athletic fields, and dozens of devices per room. We survey the actual building and design for those conditions.

  • Wi-Fi 7 APs sized for real classroom device counts
  • Outdoor APs for fields, lots, and recess areas
  • VLANs for admin, faculty, student, guest, IoT, and security
  • CIPA-compliant filtering with grade-level policies
  • Bandwidth priority for testing platforms on assessment days
  • Multi-gig backhaul so the whole building is not sharing one gig

Physical Security

Visitor management and lockdown-ready doors.

Every parent wants to know how their child gets in and out safely. Door access, visitor sign-in, and cameras on one platform give you the answer and the records to back it up.

  • Front-door buzz-in with video intercom verification
  • Visitor management with ID scan and badge printing
  • Hallway, entrance, and exterior cameras with AI detection
  • Staff door access with audit logs
  • Building-wide lockdown from any approved device
  • After-hours zones with separate schedules for events and athletics

Structured Cabling

Every classroom, every closet, wired properly.

Older schools carry older cabling: Cat3 voice runs, Cat5 from a grant project years ago, and mystery wires over the drop ceiling. We document what is there and build a clean foundation around it.

  • Cat6A to every classroom, office, AP, and camera
  • Plenum-rated cable in air-handling spaces as code requires
  • IDF closets per wing or floor with proper racks
  • Fiber backbone between buildings on multi-building campuses
  • As-built drawings the district can keep on file

Managed IT & Cybersecurity

Staff devices and accounts, managed.

Faculty laptops, administrative systems, and student records all depend on accounts and devices that need to be patched and protected. We manage Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace for staff, enforce MFA on administrative accounts, keep devices updated through our monitoring platform, and run CrowdStrike on staff endpoints, so FERPA-sensitive data is protected on the device as well as the network.

Compliance

CIPA and FERPA are design requirements, not paperwork.

Filtering policies, network segmentation, and access logs are configured and documented so that when the district, the auditor, or a parent asks how student data and student safety are handled, the answer is already written down.

Sample project

What a typical education deployment looks like

Private K-8 school, single building

Twenty classrooms, gym, cafeteria, front office, and athletic field.

Networking

  • Wi-Fi 7 APs in every classroom and common area
  • Outdoor APs for the field and lot
  • Multi-gig PoE switching
  • Filtering, VLANs, and test-day QoS

Security

  • Video intercom at the vestibule
  • Visitor management at the front desk
  • Cameras on halls, entrances, and exterior
  • UniFi Access on staff doors with lockdown

Cabling

  • Cat6A to every room and AP
  • Plenum-rated throughout
  • Single IDF per wing
  • Test report and as-built
